Introducing Hannah Bivin, MSc

Doctoral Psychology Trainee

Hannah is a Doctoral Psychology Trainee at Mind Harbor and a PhD student in Clinical Psychology at Palo Alto University. She approaches therapy through a trauma-informed, client-centered lens and is deeply committed to destigmatizing mental health care. Hannah works to create a space where clients feel safe, respected, and empowered to explore their experiences with curiosity, insight, and self-compassion.

Her clinical interests include trauma, anxiety, identity development, and emotional wellbeing. She earned her MSc in Clinical and Mental Health Psychology from the University of Edinburgh, where her dissertation examined the relationship between anxiety and true crime consumption in women, reflecting her broader interest in the intersection of culture, media, and psychological health. In addition to her therapy experience, Hannah has training in ADHD assessment and experience supporting neurodiverse clients through structured evaluation and collaborative feedback.

Hannah has worked with adolescents and young adults in school, community, and private practice settings and is passionate about supporting adult clients navigating life transitions, trauma histories, and questions of meaning, self-concept, and growth. Outside of her clinical work, she enjoys spending time with animals, engaging in community initiatives, and exploring conversations centered on healing and social change.
